The goal of the Thai Net Metering Project is to help create 10 Megawatts of
community-owned or small entrepreneur-owned, net-metered renewable energy
in Thailand by the end of 2005. By September, 2005 this goal has
been exceeded! However, the small percentage of applicants
(16 out of 94) who are actually operational as VSPP generators may indicate
bottlenecks in the VSPP process.
The following is a summary of grid-tied net-metered renewable energy
systems in Thailand as of September 2005.
